Most common wiring is as follows, the “white” connector is normally the left side audio signal, the “red” connector is normally the right audio signal. The “yellow” thicker cable is the video signal.

The Nickel plated connectors (sometimes Gold Plated) are attached to OFC (Oxygen Free Cable) which is a screened (shielded) cable lead. This helps to prevents interference and reduces noise and crosstalk from other sources.
