A Witches Trail by Hughie Woods. A movie filmed and produced in 1975, explaining the story of the Pendle Witches. Who they were and the history of their demise. The movie covers the journey of the Pendle Witches from the place of their arrest to Lancaster where it’s said they met their end. This amateur movie was filmed and produced by Cine Film Enthusiast Hughie Woods,  a dedicated family man with a love of making cine movies. As a member of the Accrington Cine Film Club he spent many hours painstakingly filming, editing and narrating his productions. Making movies using cine film required time, dedication & patience. It should be remembered that in the days when cine movies were produced there were no computers to create any effects.  This offers you an insight into the way amateur movies were made along with interesting footage of places and people filmed in the 1970’s.
