The LEST converter allows any of the PDS Range of induction loop amplifiers to be driven from 100v line feed. This is particularly useful in situations where it is not possible to obtain a 0dB (775mV) line level signal from older equipment, or where the loop amplifier is situated a distance from the audio source, but near to a 100V line feed serving the speaker situated in that zone.

The LEST provides full protection from the 100V line signal and the output signal is clamped to +6dB, preventing any spikes on the high line from reaching the balanced line output.

The LEST is supplied on a single gang plate and is mountable on standard UK back boxes of at least 18mm in depth.

Input Connections: The 100V lines signal should be connected to the terminals on the rear of the LEST.

Output Connections: The 0dB balanced line output from the LEST to the AFILS amplifier is via a 1/4″ stereo jack (not supplied).
